Complaints and Dispute Resolution

If you have a question or complaint, contact [email protected]. Contacting us first is optional and does not restrict your right to use a formal complaints or dispute-resolution process.

Complaints about the content, delivery, licence or support of a course may be addressed to José Covas Education Academy, Lda and, where applicable, submitted to the alternative dispute-resolution entity to which the Academy has adhered. Matters concerning payment, tax, the receipt, cancellation of the transaction or refund processing should be addressed to Paddle buyer support, via the links on the Paddle receipt or Paddle’s support platform, since Paddle is the Merchant of Record for the transaction. The Academy’s Electronic Complaints Book remains available for complaints relating to the activity and services provided by the Academy.

Consumers may submit a complaint through the Portuguese Electronic Complaints Book at www.livroreclamacoes.pt.

Alternative dispute resolution

José Covas Education Academy, Lda has adhered to the Centro de Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo de Lisboa (CACCL) as its competent consumer alternative dispute-resolution (ADR) entity. Consumers may refer an eligible dispute to CACCL — Rua dos Douradores 112, 2.º e 3.º, 1100-207 Lisboa · +351 21 880 70 30 · [email protected] · centroarbitragemlisboa.pt. The official national list of Portuguese consumer ADR entities is also available through the Direção-Geral do Consumidor.

European ODR platform

The former European Online Dispute Resolution platform was discontinued and the underlying EU regulation was repealed with effect from 20 July 2025. No ODR-platform link is provided.
